The Technician, Field Splicing performs various duties as instructed within the network with regards to outside plant construction, restoration, preventive maintenance, facility locating, customer service drops and record keeping.   Note: This may be filled as a level I, II or III depending on level of experience.

Technician, Fiber Installation team members are responsible for working closely and courteously with Residential customers. These Technicians will install, test, turn up and troubleshoot home services in residential environments.    Note: This position may be filled as a level I, level II, or level III depending on experience.  This position is primarily searching for candidate to cover the Central Mississippi area.

The Services Engineer, Subscriber PCRF support all aspects of the environment (hardware, OS, application) and provides system administration, operational support, problem resolution, hardware and software installations and upgrades as required.

Cyber Security Analysts perform a variety of complex administrative, technical, advisory, and project management work in the Office of Cyber Security ensuring overall systems security in our private and commercial cloud services. They design and implement security controls to protect C Spire assets from cyber-attacks. They also help develop organization wide best practices for cyber security, monitor for security issues, and document security issues identified. This role supports our governance, risk, and compliance efforts by performing cyber security control reviews or security audits and performing technical security assessments (e.g., vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, and application testing).

***This position will require day and night availability for scheduling***   We are looking for a competent Help Desk Technician to provide fast and useful technical assistance on phone services, video, internet, and security systems for both residential and business clients. You will answer queries via phone and email on basic technical issues and offer solutions. An excellent Help Desk Technician must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. They must also be customer-oriented and patient to deal with difficult situations. The goal is to create value for clients that will help preserve the company’s reputation and business. Customer care is our priority.

The Dedicated Onsite Specialist role provides onsite technical support to a specific C Spire Business customer that has existing service/support agreements. Some advanced technical experience is necessary, but more importantly, this should be an individual who is eager to learn, highly customer focused, patient, an effective communicator, self-initiating, has a positive attitude, and is able to prioritize and execute tasks without micro-management. The role will involve desktop and systems administration support.

The primary responsibility of the Technician, Field Construction is to provide general labor to assist in various Outside Plant Construction scenarios.   NOTE: This position may be filled as a Construction Technician I, II or III depending on level of experience

In this role, you will perform a variety of technical work in the development of new service-oriented applications including analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting as well as support of current applications and systems. 

The Software Application Tester is responsible for creating and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure system specifications are functioning as intended. This position will be involved in making sure that the functional and technical requirements of software changes are followed and implemented as expected. This role will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and adjusting any testing environment needs and will be responsible for making sure that work is ready for production ahead of each Release.
