    The Digital Marketing Automation Specialist will create and deliver a best-in-class digital marketing experience for customers, both externally and internally. This position is responsible for managing C Spire’s email marketing, messaging, and automation programs. Part of our Digital Marketing, Media & Analytics team, this role administrates our digital marketing automation and email marketing tools, as well as creates and executes marketing campaigns across these platforms. This position also has responsibility for analyzing and optimizing campaign performance to accelerate customer engagement and revenue growth. This position requires strong communications, organizational, and analytical skills.


    • Develop and execute digital marketing automation, email marketing, and messaging strategies across C Spire’s consumer lines of business
    • Administrate and manage digital marketing automation and email marketing platform
    • Build, optimize, and measure performance of digital marketing and email marketing campaigns – including engagement programs, behaviorally-triggered campaigns, email templates, forms, customer lists, and others – to drive revenue and customer engagement
    • Manage email marketing and messaging content calendar and coordinate marketing activities across multiple, concurrent campaigns
    • Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders – including web and UX/UI, social media, creative, analytics, and agency partners – to prioritize and execute marketing programs
    • Create and manage project plans for digital marketing programs as needed
    • Ensure digital marketing automation programs are consistent with C Spire brand standards and in-line with industry best practices


    • Four-year degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related discipline required.
    • A minimum of two years direct experience in marketing, advertising, interactive or online marketing experience, project management and/or relevant work experience required.
    • Experience with Adobe Campaign, Marketo, Hubspot, Pardot, or other digital marketing automation and email marketing platforms preferred
    • Experience with digital marketing analytics, including Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, a plus
    • Must be a self-starter and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Additional skills including strong written, verbal and organization skills; excellent planning and execution, with attention to detail; strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets
