Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Professional to join our Enterprise Sales team. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can effectively follow up on marketing leads, open new doors, and create opportunities for our senior representatives. The ideal candidate will develop strategic plans for business growth in both existing and future markets, manage mid-level account renewals for customers using our managed services solutions, and handle inside sales tasks within SalesForce.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on Marketing Leads: Engage with potential clients generated from marketing efforts to establish initial contact and qualify leads.
  • Opportunity Creation: Open new doors and create opportunities for senior sales representatives by identifying and targeting key decision-makers within prospective organizations.
  • Business Growth Strategies: Develop and implement strategies for business growth in current markets and explore potential future markets to expand our reach.
  • Account Renewals: Manage renewals for mid-level accounts by leveraging our managed services solutions to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Inside Sales Tasks: Handle inside sales responsibilities within SalesForce, including managing and updating sales pipelines, tracking interactions, and ensuring data accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Business Development, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the IT industry.
  • Ability to learn and present managed services solutions and the IT industry landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn and become proficient in SalesForce and other CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement business growth strategies.
  • This is a position with growth potential based on results, comprehension, and team contribution. The ideal candidate will develop into an outside sales representative

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screen, as well as a telephone. Must be able to work a flexible schedule shared by other department members including some evenings and weekends.
