Overview

Facilitates direct and indirect communication with customers that have delinquent accounts, identifying and recommending options to bring their accounts into good standing.  Assists customers with payment options using standard and our other various payment methods.  Monitors treatment schedules and reports any abnormalities to management.  Perform any additional tasks as needed.

 

 

Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: At C Spire, we are customer inspired. Every C Spire team member is charged with delivering a world class experience to every customer. Responsible for collecting accounts receivable and minimizing fraud.

  • Take incoming customer calls, emails, internal tickets, etc. related to customer balances due and Revenue Assurance matters related to the Wireless line of business.
  • Conduct outbound collections calls on unpaid delinquent accounts to collect unpaid monies owed to C Spire.
  • Review and process pre-screening of new customer credit applications from our retail stores, Telesales and E-Store. Also, conduct research, review and decisioning on CSB credit applications.
  • Functional off-phone duties may include but are not limited to processing bankruptcy notices as well as May want to put Phone submitting associated proof of claim documentation, deceased or estate claim processing, and processing customer fraud claims and research.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree preferred or two years of experience in a fast-paced business office environment preferably in a financial lending, collections, customer care setting or leadership role.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and have strong follow-through skills.
  • Must be proactive in problem resolution and thrive in an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screen. Must be able to work a flexible schedule shared by other department members including some evenings and weekends.
