Overview

 

The Technician, Drop Bury will be responsible for running underground drops via machines or in some cases hand digging when required from vault to customers residence.

  • Perform all other actions necessary to accomplish the foregoing principal duties and accountabilities. This may require working in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervisor.
  • Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervisor.
  • Perform all work as necessary to conform to quality control guidelines.

Qualifications

  • REQUIRED
    • Must have a high school diploma or recognized equivalent.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a DOT physical certification.
    • Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and customers.
    • Willingness to work both individually and in a team environment.
    • Willingness to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime, on call, and weekends when necessary.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to handle and move 50 lbs. or more. Must be able to work on a ladder for an extended period of time. Must have good hand eye coordination. Must be able to operate tools and equipment. Must be able to traverse difficult terrain, bend, crawl, and work in attics and outdoor weather conditions for extended periods.
