Overview

Responsible for physically and systemically processing of all warehouse orders to ensure timely fulfillment according to need by date. Must use computer systems internal and/or external to execute appropriate inventory transactions. Communications, problem solving, teamwork, housekeeping and safety are all key areas of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all delivered equipment/material is received within 24hrs
  • Ensure all warehouse orders are completed on or before their need by date/time.
  • Daily processing all open orders, both warehouse orders and pick-tickets according to their need by date.
  • Accurately unload/receive, stock, pick, ship/load, and count materials utilizing proper safety measures.
  • Functional in all warehouse areas. Flexible to cross-train and learn new areas & responsibilities
  • Required to work overtime as needed/scheduled and approved by Department Manager.
  • Must be available to support emergency "on-call" process.
  • Certified internally to operate industrial power equipment (fork trucks, order pickers, reach trucks)
  • Reads and follows "all" Work and safety related Instructions.
  • Strong ability to learn and utilize technology to solve problems and gain efficiencies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.  Excellent verbal & written communication skills are essential.  Previous Forklift and warehouse/inventory order processing experience preferred.  Warehouse Management System (Oracle) experience preferred.  Must have proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office products experience - especially Excel.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:  This job requires the applicant to be able to lift 20 pounds. Physically stand, walk, bend, stoop, and be able to move weighted pallets as required. Must be able to work at desk/computer for long periods of time and remain focused on efficient and successful completion of tasks warehouse environment.
