Overview

As the Operations Manager for our Home Services department, you will play a critical role in driving the department's long-term success. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support our departmental goals, optimize profitability, and maximize efficiency. Your primary focus will be on coordinating between different teams, assessing departmental budgets, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement long-term strategies to support departmental goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate between different teams within the Home Services department to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Develop sound financial metrics to evaluate initiatives.
  • Recognize and drive out inefficiencies through the matrix organization.
  • Analyze departmental budgets and identify opportunities to optimize profitability.
  • Drive productivity and efficiency across the department.
  • Provide data driven options to improve margins and reduce CAPEX & OPEX.
  • Identify opportunities to expand or shift course based on market changes and trends.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential problems before they impact operations.
  • Maximize revenue through effective resource allocation and process improvements.
  • Understand the industry and competitive landscape of our markets and make recommendations for greater effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • REQUIRED
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance or a related field required.
    • Excellent Excel (or similar) skills are a must.
    • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a direct to consumer industry, required.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and trends required.
    • Strategic financial mindset and strong business acumen required.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
    • Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans to support departmental goals required.
    • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire teams required.
    • Proven track record of driving efficiency and profitability required.
  • PREFERRED
    • MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
