Overview

Responsible for abstracting, filing, updating, and reporting on lease records for the Company’s lease portfolio including inputting leases into a centralized database, communicating with respective business owners and landlords, and ensuring all related documents are scanned and properly indexed.

  • Abstract leases and amendments into a centralized database and update lease records accordingly.
  • Responsible for gathering and preparing leasing metrics and reports.
  • Communicates internally with business owners along with legal personnel and externally with landlords on lease related matters including equipment changes/additions, lease terminations, and lease payments.
  • Assist in identifying, tracking, and the negotiation of renewals with landlords for expiring leases.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • REQUIRED
    • Minimum two years’ work experience (relevant internship experience is acceptable) related to real estate contracts and/or leases.
    • Must be able to format, organize and calculate data in excel using formulas and pivot tables.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a team.
    • Must be able to format documents and slides in PowerPoint.
  • PREFERRED
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or business-related field and Paralegal Certificate preferred.
    • Working knowledge of Tririga Real Estate Management Software is a plus. 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Some weekend work may be required. Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screen.
