The Manager, Residential Sales East is responsible for the hiring, training, coaching, and overall management of the Residential Account Executives who acquire new residential customers in our Alabama footprint. 

This manager will lead and drive their Residential Account Executive team to exceed a variety of performance metrics that include neighborhood penetration rates, retention rates, recapturing of existing rooftops within our Fiberhoods”, and Net Promoter Scores.

Job Specific Responsibilites:

  • Mentor, develop, coach, train, and motivate Residential Account Executives to exceed team goals. 
  • Effectively communicate job and team expectations, and then ensure defined goals and standards are exceeded. 
  • Develop performance metrics for sales teams and monitor results. 
  • Provide positive leadership to embrace change, new products or services, and new directions of the company. 
  • Manage all relevant processes and systems; monitoring for compliance with existing policies to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. 
  • Provide consultative sales leadership to sales reps and team members to elevate C Spire brand and sales results. 
  • Meet or exceed customer satisfaction standards, as measured in part by customer satisfaction surveys. 
  • Regularly participate in ride-alongs and monitor progress of new and tenured team members. 
  • Interacts with all levels- from executives to installers- while engaged in problem solving and situations that require conflict resolution. 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned. 



  • At least four years of proven success in outside sales, routinely exceeding sales quotas and performance metrics. 
  • Proficient in the use of a CRM system, as well as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. 
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, and evidence of effective leadership abilities. 


  • College degree preferred. 
  • Proven experience in telecommunications / wireless services preferred. 
  • Previous leadership, supervisor, or manager experience preferred.
